AAF-CC Reaches Out To Future Advertising & Marketing Leaders

AAF-CC’s student objectives are: Offer scholarship opportunities for students pursuing a career in the advertising and/or marketing; Implement internship, shadowing and mentoring programs; Host portfolio days for local colleges and universities; Offer reduced AAF-CC fees for students; Encourage participation in the local ADDY Awards; Implement a program to introduce grade 6-10 to the possibilities of careers in advertising; Raises funds for the Third District Advertising Education Sponsor Fund.

SCHOLARSHIPS

The AAF-CC Scholarship is for anyone in an advertising related major such as advertising, marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design, or photography and is awarded in the amount of $250.The AAF-CC Diversity scholarship promotes a multicultural voice for the future in advertising and marketing and is also awarded in the amount of $250 to a minority applicant pursing advertising related degree. STUDENT DISCOUNTS

All students receive discount fees for AAF-CC’s Lunch and Learn programs, ADDY entries and ADDY Awards gala tickets.

PORTFOLIO DAY

AAF-CC host a portfolio day to college, university or technical college seniors who are looking to gain insight on how to improve their portfolio and themselves before graduation. Check back for portfolio announcements.
